Within the 5th International Conference on Practical Aspects of Knowledge Manangement (PAKM2004), we would like to invite you to submit a papers to the workshop "Access to Knowledge through Grid in a Mobile World" and present your projects and ideas here in Vienna. The core idea is to enhance collaboration between EU - GRID - projects within a workshop, therefore all "GRID - House" projects committed their participation in the program commitee of the workshop. The workshop's aim is to cover the following interrelated aspects: * 1. Knowledge Management and Semantic Web * 2. GRID - Technology and NGG * 3. Mobility on a GRID basis. PAKM2004 addresses all aspects of Knowledge Management and their role in next-generation business solutions. Furthermore it is important for PAKM that contributers point out the innovation and the business benefits of their solutions. The PAKM Conference Series offers a communication platform and meeting ground for practitioners and researcher, the exchange of ideas and views, the development of new insights is getting possible - active innovation is therefore possible.
